Our origins date back to 1951 when we emerged from “Grono Młodzieży,” a youth group within the Polish Alliance organization. In 1953, Symfonia proudly joined the Polish Singers Alliance of North America.

Over its 75-year history, Symfonia has taken part in numerous Polish-Canadian and American international events, earning recognition for its dedication to promoting Polish culture and traditions. As a vital part of Canada’s multicultural mosaic, the choir continues to celebrate and share both Polish and Canadian heritage by performing at a wide range of national, patriotic, and religious events within these communities.

Symfonia is renowned for its outstanding performances across Ontario, including cities such as Toronto, Oakville, Burlington, Niagara-on-the-Lake, an Buffalo where it holds an annual event. For several years, the choir has hosted an annual Christmas carol festival at St. Stanislaus Church in Hamilton, featuring participation from four American choirs based in Buffalo. In return, we have traveled to Buffalo to join in carol singing events in the United States.
